The Davis-Berkeley Shuttle provides transportation between the University of California Davis and Berkeley campuses for UCD/UCB faculty, staff and registered students. The bus service runs year round on the schedule listed below with the exception of some holidays. Passengers are allowed up to two carry-on items not exceeding 7”x12”x19” that can be safely stored under the seats or in overhead racks during transport. The shuttle also features a bicycle rack that can accommodate two bicycles on a first-come, first-served basis.
The shuttle doubles as an intercampus transport for library loans and mail in order to reduce carbon emissions and support campus sustainability initiatives. The bus service may not be used for commuting to a place of non-UCD/UCB employment or by non-UCD/UCB personnel. Reservations are required.

Arrival is approximately 1½ hours after departure
In Davis, the shuttle picks up and delivers passengers at the Library receiving dock on the south side of the Shields Library on the Davis campus, facing the Art building. In Berkeley, the pick up/drop off area is the West Gate entrance, on West Crescent Circle.`
The bus ride is approximately one hour and 30 minutes long, depending on traffic and other conditions.

You may make a reservation up to 30 days in advance.
Fares are $19.00 + transaction fee one way. They can be purchased via the online registration system.
If you are unable to utilize your shuttle reservation, you can transfer your ticket to a later date or request a credit. The transfer can take place anytime up to 24 hours before your original reservation departure time. Credits are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and expire after 180 days.

Yes, the shuttle offers free WiFi.
Most shuttles currently running have wheelchair access. You must indicate this need on the registration form when you make your reservation. If wheelchair access is not available for a particular time, you will not be able to add the ticket to your cart. We apologize for any inconvenience.
