What’s the Davis/Berkeley Shuttle?

The Intercampus Bus service provides transportation between the University of California Davis and Berkeley campuses for UCD/UCB faculty, staff and registered students. The Intercampus Bus service runs year around, seven days a week, with the exception of some holidays. The schedule for the Intercampus Bus service is available on our Shuttle Schedule page. The bus also carries interlibrary loan material and intercampus mail to and from the Davis campus and the Berkeley campus. The bus service may not be used for commuting to a place of non-UCD/UCB employment or by non-UCD/UCB personnel. Reservations are required.

Shuttle Stop Locations

In Davis, the shuttle picks up and delivers passengers at the Library receiving dock on the south side of the Shields Library on the Davis campus, facing the Art building. In Berkeley, the pick up/drop off area is the West Gate entrance, on West Crecent Circle.`

How long does the bus ride take?

The bus ride is approximately and hour and 30 minutes long, depending on traffic and other conditions.

Who can ride the Berkeley Bus?

UCD/UCB faculty, staff, and registered students.


You may make a reservation up to 30 days in advance.

Shuttle Fare

Starting March 1, 2020, fares will be $15.00 + transaction fee one way. They can be purchased via the online registration system.

Exchange Policy

If you are unable to utilize your shuttle reservation, you can transfer your ticket to a later date. The transfer can take place anytime up to 24 hours before your original reservation. Reservations must be exchanged using the online registration system.

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable.


Passengers are allowed up to two carry-on items not exceeding 7"x12"x19" that can be safely stored under the seats or in overhead racks during transport.


The shuttle features a bicycle rack that can accommodate two bicycles on a first come, first serve basis.


Yes, the shuttle offers free WiFi.

Wheelchair Access

Most shuttles currently running have wheelchair access. You must indicate this need on the registration form when you make your reservation. If wheelchair access is not available for a particular time, you will not be able to add the ticket to your cart. We apologize for any inconvenience.
